After the opening ceremony, a very groggy Twilight goes to a tower in Canterlot Castle to get some rest before going back to her duties. After being awake for three straight days to organize everything, Twilight Sparkle is completely exhausted. The Grand Equestrian Pony Summit is being held in Canterlot, an event for species from all over Equestria to come together as one, symbolized by a giant crystal statue made of gems brought by the various delegates.
